Playing Golf at Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas

This course was designed with a specific theme in mind. While golfing the views include vibrant green fairways, four lakes, majestic mountains, peaceful desert and electric blue ocean combining to give it a “desert by the sea” ambiance.

Every hole has its own view of the Sea of Cortez on one side and the desert landscape of Los Cabos on the other. The holes are divided into the Arroyo Nine, the Mountain Nine and the Ocean Nine totaling 27 holes in all. This mixture of 9 hole courses allows you to pick your favorites and ultimately make your own course.

However, regardless what combination of courses you choose there is a game for every golfer as you pick from the 5 staggered tees depending on your skill level.

Green Fees at Palmilla include golf cart, practice balls and bottled water.

Palmilla History

Palmilla is the first Jack Nicklaus designed course in Latin America. The original courses opened in 1992, and the Ocean Course opened in 1999.

  • Mountain #5 is Palmilla’s signature hole.
  • Ocean #3 which directly overlooks the Sea of Cortez is also very popular.
  • Arroyo #7 is the third most popular as it faces a huge canyon with ocean on one side and green on the other.
