The 18 mile stretch of coastline between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas called the Corridor is a great place to experience the wondrous underwater marine life. Some locations are secluded with no facilities, while others have rental shops and restrooms.

Playa las Viuda

Playa Las Viudas or Widow’s Beach has secluded coves, volcanic rock formations and coral reefs. No services or restrooms are available.

Playa Santa Maria

This is marine sanctuary very close to Widow’s Beach is one of the best places to snorkel in San Jose del Cabo. Visibility is best in the morning where you can see an abundance of tropical fish in the crystal clear water.

Playa Palmilla

This spot, popular among the locals is located five miles west of San Jose del Cabo next to the One & Only Palmilla Resort. Playa Palmilla is a serene protected cove which has been rated by Frommer’s Travel Guides as the best swimming beach in Los Cabos.
